Here are a couple videos for you to enjoy!  The puppies are almost 4 weeks old and getting so big!

Very hungry puppies...

Just starting to learn how to play...

Saturday, January 5, 2013

The puppies are now 23 days old (just over 3 weeks) and just started on solid food today. They did great. Its my own mix of "Taste of the Wild puppy food", Probiolac puppy formula, and water mixed to a baby food consistency  Nothing but the best for my babies. They did great and loved the new food. These puppies are in such great condition and heavy boned. I am considering keeping the female with the white stripe for breeding. I'm just waiting for her to get a little bigger before I take her off the list. I want to make sure that she is perfect before I decide to breed her. I will not breed any dog that is not in the best possible condition and perfectly true to the breed standard for conformation. I however do breed blue which is not an admissible color. I think that color shouldn't be an issue as long as the dog is healthy and true in conformation. Blue if you have not seen it, is the color my female Luna. She is so beautiful with her steel blue coat with tan stripes and big dark blue eyes. A georgeous dog its a shame that she couldn't be shown. She would be a show stopper (all eyes on her). I will be showing Tater (the puppies daddy) next season so keep in touch to see how he does. I'm expecting some wins for the shows that have the out of town judges. Sadly in our area its a who knows who game. I saw some dogs that had some very obvious physical issues win last season, so we will see. Keep in touch all. I love hearing from all of my previous puppies mommy's and daddy's. Check out our photo album for pictures of my last litter. I love talking to you all. oooooooo

The puppies are now 11days old. I posted some updated pictures on the Available Puppies page for you all to enjoy. There eyes are now open and they are cruising around after their momma to nurse. Lucy is now leaving them for brief periods. They are just a blessing. I love playing with them and snuggling them. I do hold my puppies and handle them often after 1 week of age. I feel that it makes them more friendly and easy to handle. My babies sure do love their people. Just read the comments some of my babies owners left. I do have 2 people who have given me a verbal request for a puppy and will be sending a deposit on Jan.3rd. I will start taking deposits at 3 weeks of age. It will be first come first serve. I am sorry but I can not hold any puppies without a deposit. I will be posting some more pictures soon. Hope you all had a great holiday.

The puppies are 8 days old today and growing fast. I have had many people inquiring about when they will be ready to go to their new homes. The first week of Februrary is when they will be ready. For anyone who would like to purchase a puppy see my available puppies page as they are being sold much faster this time. I will list them out individually and mark them as sold as I receive deposits. I will be posting more pictures soon. As always call me anytime I'd love to talk french bulldogs with you!

Here's some pictures of the new babies. They are growing fast. All are fat and happy. Biggest was 7.6 oz smallest was 3.6 oz. There are 4 males and 2 females all had alot of brindle stripes already and they will just get more as they grow. One of the males had the cutest brown dot on top of his head and a white stripe down his nose. I think he's going to be my favorite already. He's so calm and cool anytime I handle him.

Latest puppy update. We did another xray yesterday to measure head to pelvis sizes and found another puppy hiding, so we are up to 6 puppies due on Monday December 17th. Will post pictures is a few days!

Well we had our x-ray and sonogram yesterday and we will have 5 puppies coming on December 17th! I am so excited. I was a little apprehensive at first being that this was not a planned pregnancy but the fact that I have more babies coming to love is so exciting to me. All puppies were healthy and a good weight for their gestational age. We will be returning to the vet for another sonogram on December 11th to measure head to pelvis size and make sure it is safe to try for another natural birth. My dogs are born and conceived naturally, they do not have any breathing problems, and do not have hemivertebrea. I'm so proud that I am able to breed these healthy features into my frenchies.

Here's Lucy all fat and pregnant. She's been extra snuggly especially with my 2 sons. This is her with my son Owen. She is doing great and in even better condition than her first litter. The puppies are coming in December. I will keep everyone updated on the puppies status. We will be going to the vet for sonogram and xray the first week of December.

Oliver finally made it home a couple of weeks ago and is doing great with his new owner Katie. He is going everywhere with her. I guess he likes the barn a lot. I'm just so glad that all of the puppies made it to wonderful loving homes.

Well Tater was at it again! What can I say he's the master. On monday this week he bred Lucy right through her diaper. I did everything I could keeping them separate and keeping her diaper on at all times (unless she was going potty). Well Tater bred her any way, so we are due to have puppies on December 14th, just before Christmas. So to all of you who have been waiting, your puppies will arrive just in time for Christmas. More upates to come. I will post pictures at about 40 days gestation of the puppies sonogram. I thought about giving her the morning after injection, but after careful review of the side effects and the new research about back to back breeding, I made the decision to have the puppies. Lucy is more fit than ever, and in great shape for having more babies. If there are any questions about this litter please feel free to call me anytime.

Unfortunately Oliver's (formerly Pickles) first owner Liz was unable to keep him due to allergies. Her friend Katie from Syracuse NY will be taking him home with her when she moves into her new house. For now Oliver is back with us and having a great time with our pack.

Puppies are now 9 weeks old! Its hard to believe that Duke and Poppy are leaving us next weekend. I'm going to miss them so much. I am purchasing another female frenchie though. I hope this will help fill the hole I'm going to have in my heart. I just loved doing this so much and all of the great people I met during this process. The whole breeding process was such a joy for me. I look forward to doing this for many years to come.

The puppies are getting stronger every day. We have been going outside at least 2 times every day now. They have a great time exploring our 1 acre fenced yard. The puppies will be receiving their 6 week vaccinations on Saturday. Its sad that they are going to their forever homes soon but I know that they will do great with all of you. I found some really great people to take care of them. So glad to have all of you to take care of my babies.
More pictures to come soon.

The pups are 37 days old!  As a special treat, thanks to the beautiful weather lately, they got to enjoy some time running and playing in the grass.  Here are some pictures of their adventure.
