Hello, Benedict Family!
I'm Katie, and I am Liz's friend, who is her 'local connection.' I was lucky enough to come with her to pick up Pickles yesterday, and I just wanted to let you know what a true pleasure it was to meet your French Bulldogs! I do a great deal of work with dogs as a Behaviorist, and I do rehabilitation and retraining, especially of dogs with aggression, dominance, and neurotic behaviors. Your little pack was one of the greatest families of dogs I've ever encountered. Lucy and Tater were MARVELOUS; playful and so social, yet respectful and polite as well. And the puppies were just amazingly well-socialized, friendly, and delightful! I loved their great conformation, that the babies were naturally conceived and whelped, and really, everything about your dogs was a joy to see.

Just wanted to share the wonderful experience I had with The Benedict Family as breeders.
From day one, we have had fantastic feed back via email and phone with Jen. She would keep us up to date and let us know anything she was doing with the puppies that day, or week - even when their ears started to pop!
We would communicate back and forth a few times every week and she would answer any questions I had. The most wonderful part of the experience with this breeder was that I was always in-the-know about the puppies training progress and how much they were growing.
It was amazing to see the puppies grow a little bit every other day, which Jen would send me personal pictures. Everyday I would wake up hoping for a new picture! And I was rarely disappointed.
I also appreciated the fact that Jen would track every vet visit and sent me a bunch of information that I didn't necessarily know before.
A big Thank You to Jen and her family for making my experience memorable and for prepping my puppy for his Forever Home - He is awesome and I do not know where we would be without him today. I would recommend (and have already!) The Benedict Family Frenchies to anyone looking for a sweet baby and a great experience.

Billy and I had the most amazing experience with the Benedict Family and finding our sweet, little Poppy. We had always known we wanted to add a little Frenchie to our new family, but were encountering a lot of careless, and ambivalent local breeders in NYC. It seemed like most wanted to turn a profit and had little concern for their pups and who they went home with. Luckily, while stuck on a very long cab ride, I stumbled across Jen's website -- from our first conversation, I could tell how much she loved her dogs, as well as how much she knew about the breed and her business. She was incredibly knowledgeable and warm and I knew on the spot that we wanted to bring Poppy home with us. Throughout the next few weeks, Jen updated us frequently with adorable photos and anecdotes, letting us know how the pups were growing and changing. She kept us up-to-date on all their vet visits and progress. Billy would pester me every day to see if Jen had added any photos or videos to her website and we'd play them on repeat before we went to bed at night. The weeks just flew by and before we knew it, we were driving upstate to take her home.
We love our little Poppy to pieces - she already has a multitude of nicknames Pops, Popscicle, Poptart, Poppycakes - and she makes us laugh on a daily basis with her silly antics. She's already a huge celebrity here in our neighborhood - its tough to walk five feet without someone stopping to say hello. We can't wait to get her together with Pickles and Stella at a dog park in the city really soon. The fact that we can actually keep in contact with her sibling's owners is a really unique and special thing and its all thanks to Jen. Huge thanks and much love to the Benedict Family and Tater and Lucy too! We highly recommend Benedict Family Frenchies and look forward to staying in touch with them for a long time.

Thank goodness you raise your puppies to have such great social skills! Oliver jumped my little fence and went to visit the neighbor dogs, two huge black labs, and he got to their yard before I could catch up to him. He made friends instantly with them even though he was in their territory and they
ended up really liking each other! Whew! The great job you do with these puppies is actually a lifesaver in situations like these, and we all know that puppies will ALWAYS get themselves into trouble one way or another. So thank you again so much for the amazing, amazing job you do with these guys.

Ken and I have had an amazing experience with Benedict family frenchies. Jen had been so on top of sharing all the latest puppy developments over the weeks. We always looked forward to hearing from her. She did such an amazing job getting Winston ready for his forever home. He is truly such an incredible addition to our family. We love him to pieces.
When our vet came to check him out she could tell Winston had come from a good breeder. Winston let her check all over, clip his nails and sat on the scale like an old pro. The vet also liked all the info in the puppy pass port that Jen gives you with the puppy.
Jen truly loves her dogs and has so much information she happily passes on. It's so nice to know she's there for us. If we ever are looking again to add to our family I wouldn't hesitate to deal with Jen again. Thank you soo much for everything.

Jen is the best! We had such a wonderful experience with her. She is super kind and caring and we felt incredibly comfortable knowing we were bringing Stella home from that kind of environment. She is also super amazing about answering any questions you may have (and I had some pretty silly ones - first time puppy parent).
It was a lot of fun keeping up with the updates on the blog and watching all the pups grow. My husband Brandon and I would count down the days for the weekly pictures. :)
Stella is the sweetest little pup and we couldn't be happier. She has done so well with the transition to the big city! One thing she can't get her head around - the pigeons. She has been trying since day one to take on the pigeons but so far - the pigeons just mock her. :)
Her personality is really starting to come out and she keeps us laughing on a constant basis. She loves to play but she also loves to cuddle. What a great balance. :)

We are so lucky to have found Benedict Family Frenchies! We had such a great experience with Jen and her family. Jen really took the time to help me find Mac the perfect brother to our 1.5 year old french bulldog Mila. In the weeks prior to picking up Mac, Jen sent us puppy updates on how Mac was doing and the cutest pictures of course! We felt so comfortable contacting Jen with any questions or concerns we had. It was also easy to tell how much Jen loves her puppies and treats them as her own family.
We also loved how much Jen appreciates the french bull dog breed, most breeders opt to c-sections but Jen is passionate about the natural birth of her puppies. It was also very nice that we were able to meet both of Mac's parents Tater and Lucy. Both were such sweet and beautiful Frenchies. Mac is also so intelligent with such an excellent temperament, we are impressed how well his responding to training. Not to mention he is so adorable and affectionate! We love our new addition to the family!
We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Benedict Family Frenchies!

As I'm writing this now, Theodore is taking a nap in my lap. He's brought so much joy and laughter with all of his silly antics. From the very beginning, Jen was so helpful in answering all of my questions and very quick to respond which I appreciated. I couldn't have asked for a better puppy. He is such a sweetheart - very cuddly but also very playful. Jen was also very accommodating when I was trying to decide when to pick up Theodore. Even though my time at her home during the pickup was brief, you could tell how much she loved her dogs and the puppies. The entire experience was amazing and I would highly recommend Benedict Family Frenchies to anyone looking for a french bulldog.

I found the Benedict Family Frenchies through the AKC website, and it was best thing that could have happened to me. Jennifer is very knowledgeable about dogs and breeding and was such a good source of information about French Bulldogs. She sent me pictures almost daily and made it very clear to us while we were waiting to take him home that she was only a phone call away if we needed her. She sent us home with an awesome backpack full of goodies and a booklet of all of his medical records, including detailed records of his weight since birth! How cute is that!? Because of the Benedict Family Frenchies, I now am the proud mommy of Marco, and if I ever decide to expand my Frenchie family Jennifer will be the first person I call!

Hi Jen,
Nate is great. Everyone loves him. He is so good...Sleeps all night. He is very playful and Loves to cuddle. He went to the vet he is healthy and beautiful. We are spoiling him to death..... My mom says you can't give a puppy or baby too much love. Loves to sleep in his grandma's bed, grandpa's not sure.
He plays for 2 hours straight then passes out for an hour or two. He is almost potty trained, he has an occasional accident but he is great. We want to thank you for bringing so much joy to our lives.
